Hypnotic Perceptions
Five test subjects were individually isolated in a room where they were exposed to a 10 minute hypnosis recording designed by the composer. This recording utilized specific sound frequencies, usages of harmonics, and binaural beating to stimulate responses from the subjects. The subjects were prompted by a narration (not included in the final piece) to answer questions as to what the various tones seemed to stimulate. Some of these questions were open-ended in asking for any bodily or mental sensations, while some were specific to parts of the body, colors, and planets. After the subjects’ responses were recorded, the original hypnotic tones, combined with the subject responses were enhanced into a new narrative. This narrative is the piece, Hypnotic Perceptions.
SnapDrive
As the parts of a well-functioning machine operate and create the flowing system of energy that creates drive, there is a microcosmic level that composes the overall flow of the drive. Like the stream of electrons that make up the flow of electricity, the kinetic force of drive contains small instances of actions that work like a chain of dominos in carrying the energy forward. In this piece, the snaps achieve the drive.

Insaxation
The saxophone is an instrument that combines the aesthetics of both a beauty and a beast. The emotions revealed by the sound of the instrument range from love, anger, hope, fear, desire, and sorrow. If one stretches the sound of instrument in all directions, the inner soul of the instrument can be released,. In so doing, one unveils the complex spirit of the saxophone.
Hawking Sonified
